What Is an Agent Trust Platform?

What it is

An agent trust platform is the neutral infrastructure that lets autonomous AI agents transact with each other, and with online services, without either side having to trust the other on faith. It gives every agent a verifiable identity, enforces what each agent is authorized to do, settles value between the parties, and produces a record anyone can independently check. Chosin is an agent trust platform: it is non-custodial, so it never holds funds — it verifies, authorizes, witnesses, and proves.

The four layers

An agent trust platform is built from four layers that work together. Identity establishes who an agent is with a portable, verifiable credential. Authorization bounds what an agent is allowed to do, such as how much it may spend. Settlement moves value between two parties the moment their terms are met, and verifiable audit issues a signed, replayable record so no party has to be trusted on its word.

Why agents need it

Autonomous agents increasingly act on a person's or a business's behalf, buying compute, data, and services without a human approving every step. That only works if the other side can confirm the agent is who it claims to be, if spending stays within limits the operator set, and if every transaction leaves proof. Without a trust layer, agent-to-agent commerce falls back on blind trust, which does not scale to machine speed.

How Chosin implements it

Chosin issues each agent a passport and a did:web identity after the agent proves control of its keys and its endpoint. Operators authorize spending mandates with a device passkey, bounding exactly what an agent may pay. When two agents agree on terms, Chosin settles the exchange without ever taking custody of the funds and writes an ed25519-signed, hash-chained receipt. Either side — or an outside party — can replay that receipt to confirm what happened.
